Katz will be seen with studs and tattoos. She is wearing a stud on her pierced lower-lip, big tattoos on her arms and chest, rings on her fingers, and a very sanyasi kinda matted hair. According to a source, the actress is excited about the way she looks in the movie.
But the dread-locks hairdo gave Katz the nightmares because it caused a lot of damage to her naturally smooth, straight hair.
“She’d immediately go for a hair wash once the shoot would be over,” a source is quoted as saying.
Gotta take care of those tresses!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Presents Pritish Nandy's Book 'Again'
And he needs it! The author of Again told reporters that if people don't read poetry it's because publishers aren't doing their job! "You cannot judge a reader. It is the writer and publisher's job to persuade the reader to take to reading. If your book is not being read, you better chase or change the publisher," he told PTI.
"I think everyone should read and write poetry. Poetry is living. It is discovering yourself. If you have not written poetry, it means you have not discovered yourself. We need to go beyond the boundaries of academia. Poetry should attempt to discover a connect with the people. It should be fun and should not be just for examination purpose as done in schools," he added.
Ash went on to read excerpts from the book and the evening was an instant success! But success is not something Pritish Nandy looks for, he is happy letting it come to him naturally, if at all. "I do not chase success. I chase excellence in whatever I do, be it writing, making movies or anything else. I have never followed success. Success follows me. If you chase Saraswati, Laxmi comes along," Mr. Nandy told PTI.
And he means it; it's been about 20 years since Pritish Nandy has written poetry so he does takes his time! "It was only because of constant nudging of noted poet Gulzaar that I have taken to poetry again," he said.
So check out our pics of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan presenting Pritish Nandy's new book Again at Mumbai's Crossword Thursday night and share your thoughts; would you listen to Ash read poetry?
Just how Katrina Kaif is different from Indu of “Raajneeti” 2010 imk
Humility is her second name, courtesy her best companion. She comes across as honest, frank, genuine and largely undiplomatic. She doesn't parry a question either. If she isn't able to meet the time for her interview, she would start her message with humbling words like …“my sincere apologies…”, a trait quite uncommon in Bollywood.
Meet Katrina Kaif. These days, more than Prakash Jha, the producer-director of her film Raajneeti, Rajneetireleasing this Friday, she is making news for playing a “non-glamorous” role in it. She feels rather amazed at the epithet, “It's a misconception. I think the glamour comes from a woman's strength of character, the fire in her and ability do something rare and not by wearing a mini skirt. I think the role of a domesticated woman is rather more unglamorous than the one I am playing in Raajneeti.”
As Indu in Raajneeti, Katrina adds, she plays the daughter of a political financer, is spoilt, wears trendy clothes and lives life on her conditions. “Indu is very outgoing, fiery, brash and wants everything in life. She is quite shameless in love, meaning, without any caution she goes to the person she loves and pushes him to love her back. When it doesn't get reciprocated she feels jolted and realises she can't get everything she wants, that way my character is pretty glamorous. The so-called unglamorous part comes only in the later half of the film when I am pushed to live a politician's life out of business compulsions.”
Next, speaking “straight Hindi” has been one of the hardest practices she did for the film. She admits, “I really tried to push my boundaries to do better; I hope I am accepted by the viewers.”
To maintain a recall value, Jha has been talking about Raajneeti in almost all his interviews and he minced no words earlier saying the film is on the first family of politicians in India, a statement he now refrains from, so do his actors.
Quips Katrina, “I think the blame should go to me as I come from a foreign land, speak accented Hindi which has made the media think that I am portraying Sonia Gandhi. It's not her biography. In fact, as a politician I come pretty late in the picture,” she asserts.
And to portray one, Katrina spent a lot of time with Jha who is familiar with the politics of Bihar. She also saw videos of several women politicians. She of course has reached an opinion too. “I think it is easy to criticise politicians. Some of the criticism may be right but by playing Indu, I realised how tough and courageous a job politics is. They take the responsibilities of the fault done by others and have to take many unwarranted things in their stride. Though the job comes with a lot of benefits, it requires a lot of personal sacrifices too. We never keep ourselves in their shoes before criticising.”
Katrina's frankness seems to have come from life she lived with her mother who, as a single parent, nurtured her along with her six sisters and taught her the virtues of living a privileged life. She agrees, “I regularly pray to God and thank Him for giving me so much in such a short span of time. I feel so privileged that if I worked hard, I got returns too. So many people work hard, get frustrated for not achieving what they worked for.”
She adds that accepting success easily also came from her frequent travels. “Within quick short spaces I frequently changed countries, societies, cultures and language that it became easy to accept everything that came to me. I take people on their face value and never judge them. I open up to those who talk to me with a clean agenda.”
Films are not the only thing on her mind. An orphanage in Mumbai, which would be an extension of her mother's orphanage she runs in Hong Kong where Katrina was born, is next she wants to have “instinctively.”
“It needs lots of permissions to have one in Mumbai. We have just got one in Madurai and admitted a baby girl there. I would like to have a house of my own in Karjat and Madurai so that I could take care of the orphanages too.” So, what makes Katrina so humble and gracious? She laughs, “Life taught me to forgive those who haven't been nice to me. I may been bad with some people before whom I can't go with clean conscience. I seek such people's forgiveness from God,” she says.
As Raajneeti, like any other film is “an exam for her”, she asserts that she didn't do it to change her image or audiences. “I did it because it was engaging, exciting and I liked shades in my character. I am not saying to people ‘watch me, I am different in it'.”
katrina kaif in saree hot photos
A source informed that Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif were shooting an intimate rain song which required Kat to wear a saree till her knee. But the wet saree shrunk to such an extent that a better part of Kat’s legs got exposed. Disappointed at such a malfunction, Priyadarshan directed the cameraman Pony Verma to shoot only close-ups to hide the problem.
But what shocks here is that none of the crewmembers were fazed by this incident not even Katrina Kaif herself. When asked what she has to say about the mishap, she casually dismissed the whole thing as just another folly that occurs on the sets of every film.

aish Rai is the one with the sexiest eyes
WHEN BEAUTY COMBINES WITH BRAIN
Aishwarya Rai, usually dubbed as "The most beautiful woman in the world" appeared on a recent Oprah Winfrey Show. Oprah, known to many as "the most powerful women in the world" was well handled by Aish.
When asked why people do not see sex in her movies; not even a kiss, Aishwarya replied:
"I come from the land of the Kama Sutra. So we obviously do have a normal, healthy sex life. [Kissing] is a more private expression of emotions. So I guess art imitates life and that kind of comes across in our cinema as well."
On another answer she said:
"Back home, you're a loser if you say, 'Mom, I'm out of here'. In India it's more about the family, about living together, about remaining connected, and that's probably the most beautiful special thing about it."
That makes Aishwarya even more beautiful. In her words:
Aishwarya Rai in sari stuns everyone at Cannes
After a long time, the Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was seen in a traditional Indian outfit at the 63 annual Cannes Film Festival.
Aishwariya Rai mesmerised everyone at the red carpet as she walked in Indian outfit with her husband Abhishek Bachchan during the premiere of 'Outrage'.
Besides Abhishek, Aishwarya was also accompanied by her mother Vrinda Rai and team of 'Raavan'.
Aish's outfit switch
From Armani, Elie Saab and Gucci designer outfits, Aish made a switch over to Indian outfit designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee at the sixth day of Cannes Film Festival, the most prestigious and world's oldest film festival.
Aishwarya Rai was usually seen in western outfits more due to the rules of her brand L'Oreal. As per the rules, she must present herself in western outfit but this time she also showed her Indian side.
The sari was studded with stone and had a low neck blouse and on that she wore less of jewelry.
"The look was glamourised and it brought back memories of Ash in the film Guru. I also loved the make-up,” Ritu Kumar told NDTV.
On May 23, 2002, Aishwariya Rai was seen in a sari at Cannes Film Festival first at the premiere of 'Devdas' that fascinated everyone at the red carpet.
But ever since the 2003 outfit disaster, when her green sari and chappals at the 'Dogville' premiere were criticized even by the unfashionable, the brand L'Oreal made sure that she wears designer outfits.
Deepika Padukone still in race
Besides Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone also preferred Indian wear. She wore an off-white sari designed by Rohit Bal. She said that she finds sari very Indian and sensuous.
As per Oneindia, Deepika said, “There’s so much to Cannes besides the festival. In fact, the first time when I came to Cannes in 2002 I was here not for the Festival but as a tourist.
"I remember I had stood outside the venue of the Cannes film festival and taken pictures. I had promised myself that next time I’d be back as part of the Festival…and here I am.”
Katrina Kaif hops into local taxi
She was supposed to fly to Bangalore for a promotional event of her upcoming movie Raajneeti. The flight was on time, and her driver did not show up. Turned out he was stuck in a traffic jam.
Not willing to miss the flight, Katrina took matters into her own hands. She took her luggage along and hailed a cab to the airport. Even as the taxi whizzed past the routine morning traffic, the cabbie stole a glance in the rear view mirror only to find Katrina Kaif as his passenger.
Katrina arrived at the airport in time to join Ranbir Kapoor and director Prakash Jha, but the duo were not very pleased with Katrina’s blasé attitude towards her security.
Katrina Kaif More Popular Than Top Bollywood Actors
Bollywood Actress Katrina Kaif is reportedly more popular than most of the bollywood stars combined. Believe it or not but Katrina Kaif has become the most popular bollywood performer ever and no one is even close to her popularity as of now. katrina-kaif-110a1 Katrina Kaif was born on 16th July 1984 in Hong Kong. She is currently one of the highest paid actresses in India and has been voted the sexiest woman in a poll conducted by an Indian magazine. She made her debut with the movie Boom that was a box office disaster. But, she stayed on to achieve real success with the movie Namastey London. She has made a very successful career for herself in Bollywood now and has given many hits in a row since 2006. Personally, her relationship with Salman Khan has been a very controversial one. Katrina is a Cancer and her ruling number is 7. Her lucky days are Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The planet Neptune makes her highly imaginative. She is an easygoing and optimistic person. She is generous, emotional and sensitive at heart. She loves taking care of her family, and, being a Cancer woman she will be a perfect wife and a great mother. The year 2009 will turn out to be better than expected for her. She achieves success fairly easily and reaches new heights. Her fans love her and will continue doing so even in year 2009. However, she must make sure that she does not go on a signing spree this year. She must be careful regarding her health and not put too much pressure on herself. She will reap huge benefits from her professional life this year and will capitalize on all the opportunities that come her way. At the end of the year, she might take some rash decisions, which may not prove to be fruitful for her. She may also be confused with regard to her personal life this year.
